Screenwriting: characters and dialogue task Celtx

Task 1: create two very different characters

Write a character profile for each - this is a brief outline of who they are. What makes them unique and interesting? Your profiles should include:

Name, age, gender, ethnicity, occupation, appearance (costume/props)

Five characteristics to describe what they are like (e.g. curious, brave)

What do they want? What stands in the way of them getting it?

Yannick- 18 teen years old,

Costume: Nike Tracksuits

Prop:phone , ear rings, watch

Pedro- 17 teen years old
Hair : curly Afro black
Eye colour: brown
Costume: jeans with a top
Physical appearance : skinny
Prop:phone

Occupation :They both go college last year of college  , Yannick studies Btec sport science

Yannick goes gym four times a week after college, he has he own youtube channel where he shows his workout routines.

thot boy- male that talks to a lot of girls at once as if he is  going to be their boyfriend but leaves after getting what he wants .

Pedro studies  A Levels Film studies, A level maths and A levels science, in his spare time he plays ps4.

Both want one girl to be their girlfriend and what stands in their way from getting is each other .

Task 2:  Scenario and details

Now choose a setting for your characters (e.g. a train, house, the street…)

Your characters are going speak to each other so decide on a scenario to go with the setting. Do they know each other already? Have they just met?

What will the dialogue be about? (e.g. argument, one character revealing something, discussing an issue?)

Setting: Pedro House /House party
Characters Yannick and Pedro are speaking to each other
They Know each other
Playing playstation four
Arguing because Yannick had enough of losing on fifa 19
Then topic of discussion will change about a girl
