I found a website by Dean Bradshaw, and he is a advertising photographer and director based in Los Angeles, I was drawn to his website because first thing I see is photos from the logan film, that movie is a popular along with the photography he has done for that film looks perfect, while I was scrolling down i was able to see more of his recent work , where he shows the advertising he has done for different companies as well as motion picture that look professional well done . The layout of the website is very simple it is in black and white , looks clear and the bold titles stand out ,making it easy for me to find out about him and his work along with giving me option to click on labels with the name of his work , so that viewers can search on it or they might even recognize it. The biography is in a short paragraph explaining what he does as well as what inspired him, his contacts are down below on his sites.
http://clorova.com/

Evaluation /Reflection photography
Having an overall understanding of the types or genres of photography is important for understanding where your own photography fits in the photographic world, being a beginner photographer I explore virtually every photography genres there is. The main ones I looked at was Fashion and sports, sports photography is a more professional genre that involves a lot of high-speed shooting. Photographers who shoot sports are normally using long and heavy lenses that are capable of zooming in to where the action is. Fashion photography typically shows supermodel and celebrities in high-fashion clothes, shoes, and accessories, due to the need to showcase the outfits, this usually involves a lot of full bodies shots.

Also, the photographer I looked at was Olivia Rose she is leading a new wave of photographic talent who are championing personally and character via the unknown, the unique and the ugly. Olivia is not only confronting the industry with the idea of imperfection but also with issues of racism, and most of the pictures she took are portraits and the beauty in portrait photography is in capturing a person's personality, by looking at her work you can see that she photograph famous personalities as well as family and friends, her work is compelling, she is able to capture the person facial expression clearly .

Furthermore, after I did all my research it was time for me to try it out for myself, the research helped me because it gave me an idea on what to do for photography but I wasn't ready because never taken pictures before with photography camera, so the genre decided to choose as a practice run was portrait, the reason I chose it was because portraiture is the most explored genre in photography. Today anybody with a smartphone practices portrait photography but for me, I was still bad at taking photos with a smartphone, so using a camera will be challenging for me. I went to the studio and learnt the basics, like using a backdrop, the backdrop is the background for your photography and you have to make sure the model or object you are using 5-6ft away from the backdrop, along with my teacher Scott tort me different lighting for photography, for example, infinity lighting and high key photography is bright but there aren't that many shadows and a white backdrop portray makes everything white. There are four lights in the studio, the two cone light are called flash reflectors, they just need to light the backdrop. they need to be set up on 4-6 which are the highest settings, the purpose of it is to light the whole backdrop white.

Model light would be on your model, this would add lighting to the setup if i is too bright I will have to set that backdrop like lower to create the best lighting for my photos. The backlight brings my models forward, shadows, silverside of a reflector, gives me more contrast so it makes the shadows darker. silver would be used for black and white pictures generally. The Gold side of the reflector gives you a warmth colour and this would be used for coloured images generally, also the camera settings I learnt is ISO will make a photo brighter or darker, as you increase your ISO, the photo will become brighter as well as white balance the colour balance on a digital camera, photographers use it to get colours in your images as accurate as possible.

Practical work

These are pictures I've taken in the studio, this was my first time using a photography camera, as you can see this is a high key photograph, made the backdrop so the audience will be able to see my models clearly for me, these are my best picture I took for the first time using a photography camera and what worked for the first one I was able to capture their facial expression perfectly , however there are bits of their body that been cut out because didn't get their whole body in the frame , would of made it looked way better. The second picture I took was successful because I was able to get my whole model in the frame as well as the picture looking clear and compelling and even though he is wearing a hoodie, I was still able to capture his facial expression. The last picture of all my models in the frame, what worked was you are able to see their poses as well as their facial expression, what didn't is that could have made the models at the back step forward a bit and you will be able to see their face more.

the pictures I've taken are landscape and decided to take it as landscape because it allows the audience to see the models' facial expression more, the first model with the durag, the picture was successful because I was able to capture his face really well, however his elbow was cut out, should have retaken the picture and just ask my model to move to the side a bit but the photo came out looking well, the goal was to show off the blue durag he is wearing, I think done well. The second photo came out looking perfect, as you can see its landscape and you are able to see the top half of the model as well as everything is in the frame, able to see the model facial expression as she starts to show off her looks.
the first picture of my model sitting on the chairs what went well was the pose and being able to see his facial expression but his foot was cut out, that made it look unprofessional ,second picture of him with the durag looks well because you are able to see everything within the frame and you can see how my model is expressing himself with the durag. The last picture of my model standing up, everything went well, you can see him in the frame, and you can clearly see his clothing and that was the goal.
On the camera change the settings to monochrome, to make the pictures look black and white, as you can see came out well, the first picture is a portrait, and the model is showing off her looks as well as her hair, she is expressing herself. The landscape photo of my model wearing glasses, I did it as landscape because it just looks made look better and especially how my model looking away from the camera and you can see a reflection on the lenses, it just made it look cool for me.

This is when I tried a silhouette, and it came out looking well, but the first one could have done it way better by taking the picture again of the male model and just ask move to centre bit more.
put the link there explaining what a silhouette and softbox is.

photography main project
The Genre I chose is snapshot and the theme is young people , I want to show people living their life and catch them in the moment , so I can show how people express themselves as well as different mood people will be in , will show if people are in a particular mood because where they are or who they with . The reason why I want to do this because I feel like people will be able to relate to the pictures I take and connect with it, My target audience is 10+ because I feel like Young kids will be able to connect with the pictures as well.
Pictures were taken by Olivia Rose, these pictures inspired me to do snapshot because the two different pictures show a contrast, in the first picture, shows Skepta performing around a crowd and the mood is excitement. The second picture shows a father with his son at the carnival and you can see the bond between the dad and the child, you can see that they are happy and enjoying themselves at the carnival. The picture is in black and white makes it's quite authentic and shows the knowledge behind the photo, Olivia Rose took the picture of the father and his child as a portrait so the audience can focus them, so the audience can see the bond between them. I think the target audience is 16+.
Picture taken by Danillo Turilli, genre fashion , I like this photo because the place where the photography took it, contrast with what the model is wearing makes it look more eye-catching along with the model herself the way she is sitting down and not directly looking at the camera and legs open wide, sitting on the edge of the chair, makes the model look insurgent. As you can see it is a portrait, and the gold accessory symbolizes royalty along with low-level angle shows that she has power and connects with royalty meaning that she is upper class. The Target audience probably 16+ because fashion is usually viewed by teenagers and above because won't be appropriate for kids as well as they won't find it interesting at all.

photo taken by Andre Wagner, genre snapshot, his work inspires me because is something I want to do as well , reason why I like this picture because it was taken at the moment and looks so perfect and you can see that the picture was taken as a landscape, so the audience can see their whereabouts, as well as the audience, will be able to tell their mood within the picture, as you can see they are in a joyful mood, Image shows a woman helping her friend with the durag and this demonstrates the connection between the two friends. The target audience has no age limit.
photographer Mario Testino I got this picture from his book, clearly showing what I want to do, capturing the moment, it is snapshot perfectly done by Mario Testino, the photo reveals the mood of the people in the picture and that is joyful, as you can see they are enjoying themselves splashing water. I think he did this to remind people of times when they were carefree, for this photo I think the target audience is 10+ because it is a photo that just shows people having fun and at any age, people will do that.
This is a snapshot I've taken, and I think this is the best photo I took because it clearly shows two friends messing about with each other and just playing, and I had the chance to capture that, I took the picture as a landscape because I wanted the audience to see their whole body, see their body language showing that they are close friends as well as the photo I took shows the mood they are in and I think it is goofy.
This is another snapshot I took, and it looks like ask them to do for me but I didn't, they were generally having a normal conversation laughing, just took a quick picture of them and it came out perfect. You can clearly see what mood they are in, they are happy. people will be able to relate to this picture because everyone has had a happy moment in their life.

Wix , Tumblr
The first website I experimented on is Wix, Wix is a website where you are able to manage your own project, as well as the Wix's HTML5 tool, offers an infinite number of design capabilities. It allows you to create your website from the ground up for each project, and to conceptualize how a structure fits, found the most useful tool, the drag and drop system which is super easy to use, excellent exposure of content that you put through good visibility and allowing you to create a great and professional design without any large financial investment, also provides the ability to easily place video content . It is enormously beneficial for the creation and development of web platforms for movies projects.
been really disgusted. Ever since they decided to ban adult content, all hell has broken loose. I have a fandom blog dedicated to an old sci-fi TV show. I make a lot of photo posts. Recently as in the past few days, I've been getting notifications from Tumblr that my posts have been flagged for adult content. ALL of my posts are SFW - there is no nudity or anything explicit in any photos I post. I appealed it and they never replied. When all the others were reinstated, it took no more than a few hours. That's why don't bother using it again.
Evaluation for personal practice
How did you make your Cv
I made my Cv on word , and Rob provided us with a layout that helped the class to create a proper Cv, where we had a list to what to put on a Cv along with me checking on the internet for examples of Cv.
Why did you make a Cv
I made the Cv so I can be able to apply for jobs, an employer that sees my Cv will see skills, qualifications and experience, see if I am suited for the job.
How did I write my cover letter
What helped me write my cover letter was looking at examples of others online, I basically wrote a letter to a company I want to work for and wrote about my experience with media as well as telling the company how I will be useful to them.
Why did I write my cover letter
I made a cover letter because allows me to target the job and the employer in a very specific way, they will be able to see my skills, qualities and experience.
How did you make your website
I made my website by using wix , wix is a website where it helps you create your own, gives you different layouts to choose from and gives you options on how to change certain things on your website.
Why did you make your website
The website is a portfolio, so jobs I apply for can see my creative work or employers that are looking for someone with a specific skill, can see my website and contact me.

Final Dance documentary / Evaluation
Passion for Dance
My documentary is about dancer named Nae that attends to Leyton sixth form, the documentary based on her as well as dance, showed how important dance is for people and what it means for them along with showing Nae collab with other dancers, I interviewed her so the audience can know her thoughts on dance, and I put some facts about dance as a voice over so that the audience can know more about dance along with a bit about her. I came up with the idea of dance as my topic for documentary because I thought about my friend Nae, and I chose dance because I use to dance myself and I had a passion for it, but I decided to stop, however when I saw Nae dance with her friends, it just made that passion come back even though can't dance anymore and show people my skills, just thought why don't I show people dancers skills and what it means for them through a documentary.
At times felt like changing my idea because for the documentary Nae would be very busy at times because of dance, she would cancel on me all the time, when I wanted to get more footage of her dancing, but I didn't give up on the documentary, so I just use the footage I had, the documentary actually came out looking well. The documentary mode I used was participatory and observational, for the participatory I interviewed Nae in the national theatre where she trains for dance as well as for observational she was walking around showing me where she dances in the national theatre, I used a voice over when I filmed her dancing underneath a projector and in the voice over she is talking about her past within dance and the struggle about dance .
Furthermore the skills I developed through this project was editing, and editing was my weak point within media , I learnt how to make videos bigger, duplicate the same video, video transitions , audio track mixer , video effects color correction, those are examples I've used in this documentary , never had a clue about them before , but friends around me in the class tort me how to do certain things for editing, now I just need to remember all the stuff I've learnt in editing. I manage my time by just asking Nae when she is free or when she is dancing after college and compare my schedules to hers. Working independently was a challenge for me because I would rather work in a group because I was weak in some areas in media but somehow I was able to do this on my own, a challenge I overcame, worked independently by filming, editing and recording the voice over, editing with a bit of help. The problems I had was travelling because the cost of going to the national theatre was a bit expensive , however my friends donated money to help me with the travel, the second problem was the number of times she cancelled on me when I wanted to film new footage, it was kind of frustrating, making me want to change my idea but I didn't give up, solve my problem by messaging her every day seeing if she is free.
What went well for me was Interviewing Nae because I knew her already so the bond is there between us , so the interview wasn't awkward at all and she was able to open up to me bit about her past in the voice over, making the documentary be more professional along with the filming of her and her friends dancing, could have been better if I had more footage of her dancing, so I could use in the begin as well as for the interview should have recorded in a silent place in the national theatre and could of hold the camera more still while I was recording for the interview, would've of looked more professional.
