Sound bridge is a type of editing that occurs when sound carries over a visual transition in a film.
In Civil War the director used Diegetic sound when one of the character's are walking slowly in silence, and then hears a sound from behind and it is someone who he is fighting. The Director used Diegetic sound so that the audience can see that the characters are filled with energy and focused, this will make the audience feel excitement because the scene is building tension with silence, so the audience will be curious of what's going to happen next. Also within the scene there is score, director used a instrumental written by the film company to build up to the climax, audience would feel on edge.
